Talking Therapy

Lets Talk... To Thrive

Mental health difficulties can affect us all and they do not discriminate. Talking about your feelings with a therapist can help maintain social and psychological wellbeing. Talking therapy has been described as like going to the gym, but for your mind. It is not necessarily about ‘fixing’ anything but perhaps making some changes, developments or improvements in areas in your life that you may or may not be aware of being problematic.

At Strive to Thrive we see people from all walks of life – a mother or father, a teacher, a student or someone with physical illness or difficulties. In short, anyone and everyone, people just like you and me. Some clients will be referred by their GP or psychiatrist but most people self-refer after coming to the decision they want to take the first step to help themselves.
